We are a specialist, creative company offering dynamic close range aerial video and photography solutions. Ranging from large commercial industries to private individuals using the latest cutting edge drone technology and computer software applications. We have a wealth of knowledge, skills and experience in combining technical drone operations along with close precision camera work.
We work with clients across Northern Ireland,Republic of Ireland and mainland UK. From our centralised base in Ballynahinch, Northern Ireland.
From initial contact with us we can help shape your individual requirements and customise your needs through our Pre- Operational Analysis and Assessment, giving you the client a plan on how best to achieve your project objectives within your time frame and budget. Right from the beginning we are here to help you better understand how our drone systems operate and what can be achieved with camera equipment and software applications.
All our staff are qualified, current, competent and hold full Public Liability and Indemnity Insurance cover which cover us for up to £5m ( fully compliant with EC 785/2004), this can be increased if required for specific operations on request of the client. We are registered to operate within the regulations approved by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) NO: 12646 and hold Operational Authorisation (OA) allowing us to operate commercially in UK & EU airspace.
Our drones can operate in all types of challenging and inaccessible locations over land, water and in almost all types of weather conditions by day and by night, using our Thermal sensor drones.
We offer a processing package of photographic images/video footage or you can opt for the RAW format on a convenient to use micro SD card, USB or via Cloud-based Dropbox, whichever suits your needs.

Drumlins Drone Services provides high tech and relatively low cost drone solutions for structural inspections, assessments and monitoring to Architects, Building Surveyors, Structural and Site Engineers to enable them to conduct visible inspections and assessments, thus allowing them to observe inaccessible parts of structures where no other means of visible observation is feasible or is either too costly ,too dangerous or time consuming. With our diligent planning process we are able to conduct the operation while work continues on site working alongside the specific site management team.
Drumlins Drone Services pilots hold Construction Skills Register (CSR) cards which meet the Health & Safety regulations for working on construction sites.
Our drones can operate up to 500m from the drone pilot and to an altitude of 400ft. A live HD video downlink means that dangerous inspections and assessments can be achieved easily without compromising safety and minimising the risk that other methods of observation cannot achieve.
Conducting a drone survey allows us to collect data about the site faster and cheaper than traditional surveying methods. By using our services, you can focus less energy on gathering data and more time analysing the results. Projects that can take days or weeks can be completed in a sliver of the time using task specific drones, being able to easily position themselves with high quality cameras and sensors allows incredibly quick acquisition of high quality data.
A periodic mapping schedule allows site managers and stakeholders to monitor changes to ensure a project is being carried out to plan and on time. They assist greatly in ensuring a project is completed correctly, on time and on budget.
